Communication
Communication is transferring messages or information to and from different locations. There are 3 different types of communication verbal, non-verbal, and written. Verbal communication includes face to face, telephone, and communication through media. Non-verbal communication consists of body language, gestures, emotions, and even one's appearance.
In the workplace it is important to listen to what everyone has to say. This ensures that you are aware of everyone's thoughts and the best work can be done. People who communicate well also show empathy towards others by relating to other people's situations and feelings. Additionally, they are positive, clear and precise, positive which helps others to communicate well.
In high school students should learn and implement proper communication skills by becoming active listeners when conversing with someone. They should ask questions to clarify information and further the conversation, and students should try to summarize their conversations because his helps them retain information longer which is vital in a college or work setting.
